Fine jewelry designer Kendra Pariseault is launching Sound Wave: a new signature collection with zigzagging lines and silhouettes that emulate the form of a sound wave.
Using a mix of 14k and 18k gold and sparkling diamonds, the collection creates a highly-personalized and sentimental statement.
Pariseault, an alumnae of Rhode Island School of Design, came up with the concept as a visual and wearable link between music and jewelry—two of her creative passions. The design process starts by taking a sound she connects with, most commonly the beach, songs and her toddler son’s laughter, and printing a vibrational readout of their wavelength. From there, she draws jewelry pieces that artistically translate those slanting, tilting lines into statement jewelry decked and dotted with stones in winding silhouettes.
